Class Description:
Learn to create figurative sculpture using armatures, foil, paper, and fabric.
Create permanent sculpture that can be displayed indoors or outdoors using easy to obtain materials and Powertex fabric hardener. Learn how to create a strong armature to support the desired sculpture. Learn to quickly flesh out the armature to resemble the shape and volume of the finished sculpture. Learn how to mount the armature on a base or wall mount.
After creating the armature, you will learn how to use fabric and fabric hardener to transform the base armature into a permanent hard sculpture ready for painting and finishing.
